Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the dealer (anderson Toyota, 6510 showplace ave, lake havasu city, AZ 86404, (928) 764-2886) failed to mention that there were five manufacturer recalls on the vehicle before the vehicle was sold. The dealer (anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 3920 AZ-95, lake havasu city, AZ 86404, (928) 764-5153) was unable to determine when the manufacturer would be able to provide the remedy and repair parts for the recalls. In addition, when using the car jack, it was structurally unable to hold the weight of the vehicle and would collapse to the ground without warning. The manufacturer recalls were for the air bags, power train, and electrical system (alternator assembly). The manufacturer provided case number: 32367806 and indicated that they would follow-up with the contact. The contact was informed that there was currently no repair solution; however, the manufacturer presented the option of a buy back. The contact was waiting an extended period of time to determine recourse. The NHTSA campaign numbers were unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.

I purchased my 2013 Dodge Charger from anderson Toyota of lake havasu city, Arizona as a certified pre-owned vehicle last year. I have since come to discover that the vehicle has 5 active safety recalls, none of which were addressed or fixed prior to the dealership selling me the car. Several of the recalls have been in place for years, but I was never informed that I was being sold a vehicle known to be unsafe. I am now paying on a financed vehicle that cannot be driven out of town, due to known defects that were in place at the time of purchase.

2013 Dodge Charger SXT (AWD) recently experienced strange "popping" noise when shifting from park into reverse, or drive into reverse. Also, there was a strange noise/"thud" while driving whenever the "eco" mode would engage. After the noise got increasingly worse I took the vehicle to the dealership for service. The dealership discovered that the left rear axle nut was very loose. Once the nut was torqued, the problem was resolved. Unknown cause. Vehicle is in good condition, with no accidents, and just under 30,000 miles.

I was on the freeway when my cars lights started flashing and would get on battery saver mode and was hard trying to steer on to emergency lane until it completely shut off on me. Luckily I was half way on the slow lane and safe lane. It would not turn on and it started smoking when I tried getting out I was completely locked in and could not turn on the car to place it on park or open the doors. I had to get out through the window that I already had down. I then had to call my boyfriend to pick up the car in a trailer. When I was out the car I noticed red/pinkish water coming out of the car.

I put the car in reverse when trying to make a legal U-turn, when trying to put the car into reverse, I step on the gas only to realize the shifter popped back into neutral or park. When making a U-turn there is no oncoming traffic. By the time I'm able to complete the U-turn and place the gear into reverse there is oncoming traffic. I've been behind some big trucks that decide they want to back up. With a normal shifter you can quickly place the car into reverse. With this shifter I feel I'm going to get hit. This popping out of reverse has happened multiple times. This is a very dangerous shifter. I like the car although I've had to take it to the dealership for many repairs and it's only 3 years old. This car I feel may get me in an accident or kill me by not being able to shift quickly enough. I didn't know what to do until I got your website. Please check into this. Someone is going to get hurt when you can't put the car into reverse because it pops out. Thank you

E-shift issues, indication comes on screen saying the E-shift needs service since purchase! also, pulled up at atm and put in park, check engine light came on and listed E-shift issue, car would not go into gear. Mentioned E-shift issues with dealer since purchase and yet to be looked at or resolved. Every time I mention it, dealer employees seem puzzled and state that they've never heard of that before.

Twice I pulled in my driveway and thought I put the car in park and went to gather my things before shutting the car off and instead of being in park the car continued forward. The first time it scraped my side fence and the second until it hit my chain link gate- bending the posts and taking the fence gate off the posts. The fence gate them proceeded to fall on top of the hood of the car. Because I was gathering my items off the seat I didn't notice the car moving until I heard the crunching sound.
