The first time I brought it in Harold Ziegler Dodge Grandville Mi (about 50 miles from my home) just pushed the piece back down in place but it only lasted a couple of miles. I called them and they said they would have to order a new dash piece. I went back in to have it replaced and when they brought the car back to me it was already popped back up. They came out & looked at it and said it wasn't the dash piece but the dash skin and had to order it. I brought it back in when they called and left it for 8 days. When I picked it back up - nothing was repaired in the 8 days- the dash was still popped up and they also dented the dash face piece up all over the place. They told me they would have to order a new dash face piece. I brought it back in and they changed the dash face piece and the overhead console but didn't do any of the other repairs.
They called again with another appointment so we headed back to the dealership. They dropped us off at the local mall - we were there for about 4 hours and called them for a ride back. They finally came and got us but when we returned to the dealership we found out that they hadn't even pulled the car in yet, This was the second time they left us at the mall with no call or repairs being made. We headed home and contacted their service manager. She apologized and had a Dodge truck dropped off at our house and took the Charger for repairs. The next day they dropped the Charger off & took the truck. When I went out to check the car I noticed the repairs still hadn't been made. The service manager said she thought it was done but would have to order new parts. I brought it back in again and they kept it for two weeks this time. According to the service adviser "they had to get creative with the dash" they also changed some parts in the right door.
To this day- they still haven't made all of the repairs- instead they tried to convince me that "according to the techs- it's normal operation" They also damaged the right side of my car this last. I didn't get a response back from the service manager so I sent a message to the salesman. She did finally get back to me then and said she needed to do some checking but if the techs didn't have a fix then that's just the way it is. It's coming up on a week and she still hasn't gotten back to me.
