Any problems that occur from the inside of engine should be fixed by the maker. That's gonna be expensive to fix now what am I supposed to do.

I have this loud annoying ticking noise that comes from the engine. I get maintenance and oil changes regularly so what in the world can this noise be and why isn't my car reading error codes. I have read several forums where there has been ticking noises coming from the 3.5L & 3.6 Pentastar engines. Chrysler/Dodge really should check into these issues. Its very annoying and inconvenient for the Driver.

The vehicle's engine ticks (lifter type noise) on a cold start. After numerous attempts to find the problem, the Dealership located an issue with the valves and guides. These parts were subsequently replaced. The problem still exists, Dealership does not recognize it as a problem.
