Per recall M01, the wiring harness to the low beam headlamps in the 2011 model Dodge Chargers heats up causing the incapacitation of the headlamps. I took my vehicle in to have a different inferior wiring harness (air bag) covered under another recall replaced. I anticipated being able to get the wiring harness to the low beam headlamps replaced as well. Unfortunately, Chrysler has not yet acknowledged the fact that the issue exists in individually purchased vehicles and only issued the recall for police issue vehicles. The internet is littered with reports from individual consumers experiencing the same problem. I want ALL of the inferior Chinese manufactured wiring harnesses in my vehicle replaced or I want a replacement vehicle. As of today, I was told that no repairs were authorized other than the air bag wiring harness by Chrysler's Recall Dept. I am currently driving with my high beams only on as my low beams will not operate at all.
