MY 2011 POLICE CHARGER HAD A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE AND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF, BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN. THE ISSUE IS THE CONNECTOR TO THE LAMP ITSELF BECOMES HOT AND CREATES A BAD CONNECTION TO THE LAMP WHICH CAUSES HEAT AND OVER TIME BECOMES WORSE AND WORSE UNTIL THE LAMP BECOMES INTERMITTENT. IF YOU PULL OUT THE LAMP IT IS STILL GOOD EXCEPT THE ACTUAL CONNECTOR. ONCE THIS HAS HAPPENED THE CONNECTOR AND LAMP BOTH NEED REPLACEMENT. I HAVE DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND I AM TIRED OF GOING THREW THIS. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RECALL. OBVIOUSLY IT DIDN'T WORK
