While driving down the freeway the car just quit running, no power steering, no brakes, no lights, NOTHING! I was able to get it almost off the freeway and tried to get it started again. I tried turning the key and the third time it started. However, I was only able to get it about 100 feet and it shut off again, this time it would not start. I Had it towed to the dealer, they had no idea what was wrong. The dealer had to have a mechanic from the manufacturer come in and try to diagnosis it.
They said it needed a new shifter, which correct me if I'm wrong, but how does that have anything to do with a complete power loss an inability to even lock/unlock the doors? Anyway, they had my car for 3 weeks and a grand total of $2900.
