OK, SO yesterday my battery saver light came on. I drove from Longview to Mesquite which is about an 1.5 hrs. One time I stopped, went to the bathroom, came out and it went off so it was off during the drive. I got home, went to Walmart and came out to the Battery Saving Light on again.

I went to Autozone, had the battery checked, they said it was good but needed charging. I had to go through someone getting the tools to take it off. I had plans to take it today. I got up went to work got 1 mile down the road from work and the ABS and Traction light came on!! And a loud whining noise. I make it to the top of my garage at work and I smell a odor like burning something I can't explain. I raise my hood, it is slightly smoking. I had to call a tow truck which advised me to try to get it down from the garage.

Well, I locked the doors and went back to the car and the battery had died I couldn't get in without using my manual key and going through the trunk to try to boost it off. I finally had to have someone take their battery off put it on my car to get it started. We were scared to boost it, I didn't want anything to blow up!!

Get it down and my mom says there is a recall on your car on the alternator! I call the recall line give them my VIN and of course they say it is not applicable to my car!! What do you mean ?? I am having the same problem others have complained the same reason you are being investigate and I am not covered? You just don't want to pay for my repairs. $560 later I am on the road again and pissed ready to complain to someone because DODGE OWES ME!!
