My sons 2007 Dodge Charger has been a pain in our ass since the purchase in July 2010.. Now the problem is the reverse will not engage-- All other gears work except reverse. We took it to the dodge dealership and they said that we would have to replace the transmission whish would cost around 4000.00 which is crazy.. Took to local machanic and he told us that he has had to fix several chargers with this problem and he stated that when they built the car they on gave the reverse 2 clucthes(?) and one does not back up the other but that to fix it you have to go into the transmission and replace the cluches(?)... I think that it is bull-sh*t that there has not been a recall on this part seems that I am not the only one that is having this same problem.. We has the customers should have the support of the company to make this right.. Hell they have no problem selling the piece of sh*t so why have a problem making what is wrong right.. I know I make my payments every month and I am sure I am paying much more than it cost to make the piece of junk......
