Basically, Dodge has designed a front end suspension system with no wishbone or lower control arm assembly. What you have are two lateral bars connecting front the frame to the knuckle; there is, however, an upper control arm. These lateral bars provide no stability in the suspension system, causing movement in the suspension system, thereby putting a lot of stress on the ball joints, bushings and tie rods. Dodge needed to put either a lower control arm or wishbone for greater stability. And now, I am stuck replacing front end components every 3 to 5 years. There needs to be a recall on this.
