A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I HAVE A 2006 DODGE CHARGE SXT 3.5l....IF YOU ARE HAVING THE FLICKERING OF HEADLIGHTS AND DASH LIGHTS, PLEASE DO NOT LET THE DEALERSHIP TELL YOU TO BRING YOUR CAR IN AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM JUST TO LOOK AT IT AND THE MONEY WILL GO TOWARDS REPAIRS. I WENT THROUGH THIS FROM JAN 2014 TIL JUNE 2014. I SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON THINGS THAT DIDN'T WORK. THEY WILL TRY AND TELL YOU IT NEEDS A REFLASH WHICH IS NOT TRUE. IT CAME DOWN TO SIMPLY GOING TO THE JUNK YARD AND GETTING A HEADLIGHT SWITCH FOR $20. AND GUESS WHAT..... I HAVE NOT HAD THE PROBLEM SINCE.

Charger SXT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 143,000 miles

Headlights blink like a Christmas tree or they will randomly turn off. This is a common issue with the Dodge Charger. Dodge needs to stop ignoring the hands that feed them, otherwise, their bad reputation will be the end of them.

I rented a 2013 Dodge Avenger for the past two weeks. The car only had 14,000 on it and it was a piece of crap!

The transmission is already slipping, the brakes feel fine, but sound horrid, when I used the blinker, the windshield wiper would randomly turn on even though the wiper switch was on the right side of the steering wheel...when opening the door to get out, the door handle felt clunky and rigid, when turning the key to start the car, it was not smooth nor was it smooth pulling it out. The A/C was fine 95% of the time, but here were a couple of instances where it blew warm air. This car is a prime example of how much Dodge doesn't give a crap about their customers. They seem to figure, "if the car looks cool on the outside, people will buy it," not having any brains to realize that most people will come back and buy again or send them other customers from the great reviews they are getting about their cars and service.

I've bought cars from Ford, Honda, and Chevy and all of them beat Dodge/Chrysler hands down with quality and service. I am so glad I rented this little dodge. After having all the problems with my Charger, and now seeing all the problems with a brand new Dodge Avenger, I can see that this is their style and the Charger issues was not just a fluke...even if it was, a good company would not ignore so many issues and offer free assistance to those they let down.
