- Summary
- Flash: Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the RFHM with the latest software available. The customer may describe that they heard about these vehicles that can be unlawfully driven away by thieves when they are able to program new key fobs through the RFHM. Software enhancement include: Update to the RFHM software to prevent hackers from programming their own key fob to the vehicle. This is intended to deter an unwanted drive off of the vehicle without the customers knowledge. Performing this RFHM update will prevent additional key fob programming and this must be communicated to the customer before performing this RFHM update. If additional keys are required by the customer after this RFHM update is performed the replacement of the RFHM is required and must be at a previous SW level.
