Challenger Hellcat 6.1L

I purchased 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat last week of March I also purchased extended warranty the car had 20,000 miles on it when I purchased it the clutch went out at 26,000 miles I then had it towed back to the dealership where I purchased it to find out that the best warranty that I purchased did not cover the problem it took two weeks for them to even diagnose the problem I was told the part would be in on June 19th they called on the 19th and said part wont be in till June 26th on June 26th they called and said it wont be in till July 6th on July 7th they called and said it wont be in till the middle of July didn't give a date so now we are going on almost 2 months and find out it will be $3000.00 out of pocket.I called and complained they then said it would be $2055.00 to fix it.I was told that I had the best warranty they could offer. I have purchased 4 cars through this dealership this will be my last. So here I sit with no car, no help. What a scam! I'm extremely pissed off and stuck.

Challenger SRT 6.4L V8

  • Manual transmission
  • 14,000 miles

Clutch went out at around 14,000 miles. At normal driving. Took it to the dealer for repair. Service manager said it would cost $2300. Said the warranty stopped at 1,200 miles. Service manager tried to say it was how I was driving the car. I told the service manager I had a 2003 STV Cobra Mustang and traded it in for this car, and I had 50,000 miles and never had a problem with the clutch. I talked to Dodge Headquarters and it was useless. I was able to get the job done for 1,700 dollars after telling the service manager I could get the job done for around 1,700 dollars from another mechanic shop. He agreed to match their cost. I have bought 5 Dodge vehicles. I will never buy another Dodge vehicle..
