automatic drivers window fails to work
I purchased the vehicle new off the Dealer's Lot in September 2014. The following month (October), I started having trouble with the Driver's window. The automatic window is suppose to go down about a quarter inch when you open the door, and then go back up when you close it. The window would go down, but would not go back up. The window switch would not work also. Each time you open the door the window would go down that quarter inch. Before I knew it the window was all the way down and would not go up. You could not go anywhere or leave your car uncovered because of rain. I took it back to the Dealer. It was under warranty. I waited there about four hours to find out they had to order the part, (Window Motor), and that I would have to bring it back when the part came in. Several days later the part was in and the motor was replaced. This only lasted about a month and it started all over again. Long story short it is now January 2017, and my car has been in the shop ever other month since purchasing it to have the same problem worked on. The have replaced: Window Motor twice, door latch once, window relay switch, window wiring harness, repaired a so call bad wire, and today....I have to call and make another appointment for the same thing. Can you imagine having to take your car in for repair every other month since owning it for the exact same issue. Imagine all the time spent seating at the repair shop. When you buy a new car you expect everything to work. I have every work order, and the folder is getting pretty big.
