I have a 2013 Dodge Charger V8 Hemi that I purchased brand new in August of 2013. It has approx. 41,000 miles. I got in my car one cold morning a week ago pushed the arrow key on the touch screen to change the radio station and the screen shattered. McKinney Dodge in Easley, SC refuses to repair this under any warranty. They want to charge me over $1900 to replace the entire radio in my $25,000+ car. They also accused me of hitting it with something harder than just tapping it with my finger so they are calling me a liar.
I am a 58 year old grandmother, and I am the only driver of the car. If you read other consumer forums Dodge clearly has a problem with the touch screens on their cars shattering. I discourage anyone that wishes to purchase an expensive Dodge Charger from doing so or if you do I would insist that the dealership provide you in writing an extended warranty on the touch screen
