I GOT A LOW MILEAGE 2013 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T BLACKTOP SO I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.THE CAR IS IN PERFECT SHAPE AND PARKED IN THE WINTER AND RARELY DRIVEN IN THE RAIN.I TURN THE HEATER ON & IT DOESN'T WORK.THE CAR WAS ORIGIONALLY PURCHASED 6/30/13.WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER THEY TOLD ME IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY..I SHOULD HAVE TRIED THE HEATER IN JUNE WHEN I GOT IT.WITH SO MANY COMPLAINTS & HEATER PARTS ON E BAY IT SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM .
I just spent $750 to fix the TIPM, $500 to fix the tire sensor, and now this!!! It's like they program your car to break after the warranty goes out!!!
Just driving along enjoying my heat and bam! no more heat. It only blows cold air, even the defrost doesn't work. It is too cold outside to be driving to work at 5 AM without a heater!!! This is not the first complaint I have found. According to the internet, the actuator needs to be replaced, which means the entire dash has to come out. I am sure I am looking at another $500 charge.
