- Summary
- Flash: 3.6L Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience one or more of the following: ? Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module (TIPM) stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) memory. ? For 2011 vehicles built prior to February 2, 2011, the customer may experience a condition known as ?Idle Buffeting? while the vehicle is idling. This condition can be similar to driving down the road with one rear window down and all others rolled up, causing a thumping or buffeting sound. The idle speed will be adjusted to 650 RPM to correct this condition.
