On 1 October, my car battery died as a result of what I later discovered to be a the result of a door latch malfunction. When the car locked, the driver's side window continued to lock and unlock repeatedly, which obviously drained my car battery.
Exactly 3 weeks later, on 27 October, I drove to the MCI Airport to fly out to meet family in Las Vegas. I parked in the economy parking lot, and as I walked away from my car, I began to hear the passenger's side window lock and unlock (in which I knew at that time that my car would be dead by the time I returned from Vegas). When I returned from Vegas, I spent 2 hours waiting to get my car jumpstarted by a mechanic.
I dropped my car off at the dealership, and the issue was the door latch, again, but on the passenger's side. So now I have to pay for the exact same issue that I did 3 weeks ago, just on the passenger side this time.
Request a statistical analysis of this particular malfunction be performed to determine whether or not this is a car defect, which I believe it is.
