This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Caravan. The air bag light illuminates intermittently. The light remains illuminated for 20 seconds or 30 minutes. The contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer on approximately four occasions. The first time, they performed a diagnostic and the vehicle passed. The second time, the dealer replaced the clockspring. The third and fourth times, they could not duplicate the failure. The failure mileage was 3,618 and current mileage was 9,000. The consumer stated since the incident was reported Chrysler refunded one month's payment and repaired/replaced the clock spring again on 10/17/07 or 10/19/07. And yet again on 11/02/07 the air bag light has since illuminated. The dealer stated rear hatch, passenger sliding door and fog lamp switch were inoperable. Updated 12/12/07
