The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Caravan. While driving 30 mph, the rear driver side window shattered. On a separate occasion, while the vehicle was parked, a neighbor informed the contact that her rear window appeared to be cracking. The rear window shattered. She paid to have the window repaired during the first failure and feels that this second incident should be covered by the manufacturer because it is a safety defect. The failure mileage was 39,000 and current mileage was 40,000. Updated 06/16/08
The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Caravan. While driving between 35-40 mph, the third row rear corner window exploded. The dealer stated that the repair was the contact's responsibility. The current and failure mileages were 45,301. Updated 02-25-08 updated
Driving down freeway and the driver side sliding door glass shattered. I cannot continue to drive for fear of the glass to fall completely out. It happened on Friday evening, so I'm waiting to contact DaimlerChrysler corporation on Monday morning.
