My headlights go off while driving. We live in a rural area and thank goodness it's always happened while on roads with less traffic. It's very scary to be driving and your headlights go off for no reason. So far switching them off and back on again works but I'm always wondering if that is always going to work.

During the course of a couple of weeks, my lights would just go off. I would have to turn the light switch on and off a couple of times before they would come back on. It's not a good feeling to be driving down a dark road and your headlights go off. It hasn't happened since then, but I'm still a little nervous when I'm on a dark road.

Lights won't turn on. You have to keep turning the switch on and off. Sometimes you have to turn the car off and on. And sometime you have to turn the high beams off and on. This is not fun when this happens, it is very scary when it is dark and you have to drive and you can't get your lights to come on. I took it to the dealer and they checked everything they could check and said I'd have to bring it in when the problem was happening so they can see what is going on. Well, every time it happens is when it is dark so that means it is late and what dealer/auto repair shop is open after dark! Haven't found one right next to me when this situation happens. I had to replace the headlight on one side and it seemed to get better. Well the same headlight has gone out again and the problem is back. There are times that you will be driving down the road and the lights will flicker and sometimes actually go off on you. Do you know how scary it is when it is pitch black and you are on an expressway and your lights have just gone off and you have children in the car and you can't see and the cars around you can't see you because your van is dark green. I also have the door locks that do not lock any more. I believe there is a wiring/Electrical problem with some of these vehicles and Dodge should start paying attention to these complaints and find out what is going on with their vehicles and FIX THEM !!!! Recall notices should be flying !!!!

I have had this happen several times and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. The dealer doesn't seem to know what to do. The vehicle has been returned several times for repair and it keeps happening. Does anyone have a solution? It is really scary when it happens.
