I was losing antifreeze from my reservoir. I just thought it was low so I added antifreeze. Fast forward and I kept adding it. I'm 75 and it's tough coming up with the money to have it looked at and I didn't think at first it was that serious.
I finally took it to a mechanic. Well, that opened up a can of worms. I ended up having to get a new water pump. Along with several other things, I thought it was fixed until I went to add washer fluid last week. And saw the coolant was almost empty. It had about an inch and a half left in there. So now I don't know what to do. I only get 700.00 a month and I can't afford to keep having things fixed on it. But I have to if I want to drive it.
So many problems have happened and this is just one. The radiator is okay on antifreeze. I don't know how to solve it. It is a piece of crap and has been with all the problems. And yes, it hasn't turned over on 50,000 miles yet. As a matter of fact only 49,665 miles, because I don't drive very much.
