This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The institute for highway safety (iihs) gave the 2001 Dodge Caravan a "poor" rating because of leaking fuel during a crash test. The president of the iihs, brian O'neill said that any fuel leak can be a serious problem because of the threat of fire. Daimler Chrysler says the leaks are freak occurrences, but has redisgned the fuel systems for the 2002 models. If it is not a danger, why redesign it? they are refusing a recall of what could be a potentially life threatening problem and this is outrageous. A recall is absolutely necessary for the safety of my children riding in the back of the minivan and for the safety of all families. Daimler Chrysler's innaction is irresponsible and shows contempt for its customers.
