Location and texture of the fuel tank posses a safety hazard per consumer. The tank isn't protected, and a staple was able to puncture the tank, causing a fuel leak.
About a quart of gasoline started leaking from under the car when filled up. Replaced the clamp between the hose and gas tank. The leak occured again when filled up the next time. Dealer said the tank was bowed and replaced the gas tank, fuel hose and O ring. No more problem
