While driving, drivers side windshield wiper stopped working. Took vehicle to dealer and parts were not available, consumer has been waiting for parts since April 29,2002. Consumer felt this was very unsafe.
Received notice #99V113000 in the mail. Contacted dealer to set appointment. Was informed that parts were not available for the rear wiper motor. This problem can cause the air bag light to remain on constantly while driving vehicle.
Airbag system experiencing wiring failure prior to recall notice (99V113000). However, vehicle experiencing wiring problems may be cause of windshield wipers motor failure.

The seat belt warning light stays on because there is a wire that goes to the rear windshield wiper motor which comes on when the wiper motor is inoperative. Dealer has seen vehicle.
