Gas is leaking from vehicle everytime consumer parks car. Mechanic said it was the corrosion of the sending unit. Consumer is having almost the same problem as the recall on Dodge neon 1996 96V228000. Consumer feels this is a manufacturing defect.
Drove vehicle over metal debris left in road. The debris ruptured the fuel tank and fuel spilled into the road and onto rear of vehicle. Fire dept arrived & sprayed foam chemical on fuel. Took vehicle to dealer and entire fuel tank system replaced. Mjs
