Recall 99V113 000/air bag deployment: Recall notice received since July concerning electrical short circuit when ignition key is turned to "no" or "start" position. This can cause air bag inadvertently to deploy. Been waiting since 29 July 99, and dealer still failed to honor recall properly.
Vehicle parked. Put key in ignition & vehicle failed to start. Fought w/key in ignition until vehicle started. Did not shift after starting. Waited & finally arrived home. Left vehicle parked & running & got out. Informed later vehicle was moving fast. Had jumped out of gear. Have not taken to dealer yet.
