On the same day I find out that the CVT on this car is shot, the Dodge mechanic tells me that the front and back struts need to be replaced. Front are "spewing fluid" and back are leaking. This will be $1,000 (on top of the $5,500 for the CVT). Thanks Dodge! I now need a $6,600 repair on a car with a trade value of $5,000. Way to make a quality product there. The car is 6 years old. Since I bought it I have been replacing things on the front end of the car incessantly. Control arm assembly, bushings, sway bar, links. Now the struts. Should have dumped this absolute POS long before the CVT died, ha. My bad. I deserve to lose $3,000 in equity because Dodge made an inferior product.
