Both ball joints were bad right around 55,000 miles. I replaced them myself for about $250 in parts. Now I'm at about 115,000 miles, and I just finished replacing both of them a second time.

Not only was it the control arm, but the front struts and mounts all at the same time, cost me over $1400.

I owned the car for 1.5 years with minimal issues. In 2013 the right control arm assembly and bushings needed to be replaced.
