My horn started going off randomly while driving. It would also go off unlocking the car with key, putting the key in the ignition, etc. no rhyme or reason for it. It would vary from short honks to sounding like someone was just laying on the horn. I live in Vegas and you can't randomly honk at people! Took it to the dealer yesterday and was told that the TIPM is failing. It could take 1-6 months to get the part & there will be other electrical failures.
My dad drove it home because I can't take the anxiety of the horn going off. It died a block from my house without the brake lights coming on so it's not safe to drive on main streets. They don't want to give me a rental car due to the length of time I may need the car so now trying to figure out transportation.
