EVERY time I start my car (unless reset) the "change oil" light will come on. I am someone who maintains my car. It is in on time and on schedule for it's oil changes. Beginning of March (2016) my "change oil" light came on. Went to have my oil changed and was told by my mechanic that it wasn't that low (but would change anyway). By the beginning of the following month (April) it was back on. I don't do that much driving) mainly to and from work - lucky if 10-15 miles a day). But I do drive 5 days a week... and I've had my boyfriend check the oil at least once a week since the "light" came on and my level is fine. If we reset it... it will stay off for a about a week and then comes right back on.
