CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007 Dodge Caliber has all kinds of suspension problems at relatively low mileage: typically 40-50,000 miles.

The most commonly reported problems are with ball joints & control arms going bad. Tie rods & leaking struts are also reported failing in the same mileage range.

Unfortunately all the suspension problems means some owners only find out after they notice their tires are ruined.

We've given the 2007 Caliber our worst rating because these problems happen at such low mileage, & it involves a wide range of apparently defective parts. With most other cars, major suspension work is pretty rare under 50,000 miles.

Brought car to dealership with a few problems, one being the sunroof leaks. It didn't and doesn't leak all the time, but they kept it from 8/22 - 27/08 to "test" it. Work order states that the "drain tubes were loose from the sunroof, zip tie then (them) both, no leak at this time." Well, the car has been in since then for the same problem (I'm looking for all of my paperwork, so I can log more complaints). Now that it is out of warranty, they don't want to acknowledge there was a problem with my sunroof. Numerous other problems with this car including a new tranny under 20K miles. Just adding this here until I find all of my other paperwork on this hunk of junk!! It's time to get in touch with the CEO!!
