seatbelt didn't lock airbag didn't deploy on impact front lf
was traveling in Colorado springs. went in right lane then traffic backed up, moved to left lane to go around car on right that was exiting on to Colorado state hwy 85. suddenly back end went to right turned right a hair to correct ,left front of car went straight into guardrail. at being first part of over pass hitting left front almost to middle of hood. seat unlocked, air bag didn't deploy and seat belt didn't lock. estimated speed 50 to 55 speed limit was 50 when hitting front of car spun to left hitting all the driver side throwing my car back over to shoulder on right side and stopping. I think I was knocked out because I don't remember driving over there. police report has wrong vin and wrong year when I was in emergency room officer asked how fast I was going an hour and a half later after doctor gave me several different shots I hit my chest and knees and shoulder when seat went forward and seat belt didn't lock and air bags didn't go off when the officer asked me how fast I was going I said I don't know I am hurting real bad and I just popped a number maybe 58 he said that I was going 8 miles over speed limit so I am writing a ticket for careless driving I feel under meds and the way things happened this was very wrong I also feel my are car was defective.
Update from Feb 6, 2016: now that I saw my orthopedic surgeon I have to have parts replaced in left knee because its artificial and with both knees hitting dash from seat flying forward right is damaged also but left is the worse so they are going to repair it both knees are artificial and still having headaches and left shoulder and side still bothers me alot
Update from Jun 21, 2016: I called Chrysler Capitol on June 5th 2016 to speak about the problem, that I have with this company. Tried to talk with President of Chrysler Capitol to resovle the issue on the Gap Insurance, I left a message. They called me back today and they were very considerate, gave me several Phone numbers so I can put a thing against manufacturer and the dealership Chrysler Capitol has done nothing wrong at all. I have tried to resolve this issue,with them and the have not bothered in any way to talk to me or write to me to call them. I am very disappointed in Chrysler. When the accident happened on December, that's when I found out 10 months later that the finance person lied to me and I never received my contract till accident happened on December 20th 2016. I was told by the finance person Steve that I got you what you wanted for the car, which was suppose to be $9,000.00 on my 2013, that was my trade and I got you Gap Insurance. I found out when, I got my contract that he only gave me $ 4,000.00 for my trade and never turned in papers for Gap insurance,that's what Chrysler Capitol told me and sent me a copy of my contract, very poor business practice's on the dealership that I am dealing with. A little over 2 weeks later, I ended up in hospital with bone infection, I was told by Steve I would receive my contract in a couple of weeks. Being so sick in hospital, I forgot about contract. I was in hospital for 2 to 3 months till my leg healed. When the accident happened 10 months later that's when, I found out that the finance person lied to me and my sales men Dywane Leadbetter knows what he said. When I talk to the sales men, he asked his boss, if he good put it in writing, if he did he would be fired. My salesmen knows what was said. I have a recording just to show, I am telling the truth. The accident happened December 20th 2015 and I have never heard anything from, Chrysler Capitol. They contacted me to talk and help me with things, I needed to contact the right people, this was the President s Office today on June 21th 2016. Chrysler Headquarters and the Dealership, they have done nothing for me. I have been treated totaling wrong from this Company. I am going in for surgery July 7th 2016 to put a rod in left leg, doctor can't repair my leg do to accident and seat not locking, air bag didn't deploy and seat belt didn't activate. Why doesn't Chrysler make it right with me on the Gap insurance and the injuries to my left part of body, my Leg, my left hand , and shoulder on left side. I am injured badly because of this accident and things not working properly on this vehicle. I believe that my 2014 dodge was Defective...................
