I traded my 2010 Avenger for this car and immediately at test drive asked about the noise and was told it was new. I have taken it in to the dealership 3xs and even taken the service man and salesman for a ride. No resolve. I was told its a "problem" with the car transmission, that it's a problem with the "noise suppression" and this was one part they can't fix. I cannot accept any response given yet.
I drive a lot and have to turn UP the radio to drowned out the noise-this was also suggested and I said I already do that.. It gets a very high pitch after you get up to 70mph on interstate but never stops. It is most noticeable when it's first cranked up. I see other complaints about noises but seems not to be exactly as I have. It is hard to describe. the service manager almost seemed to "mock" my description and that really made me aggravated. I have purchased both cars from same dealership.
