While driving my 2013 Dodge Avenger, the light came on (red lightning bolt) the car stalled I had to pull over several times.

I would start the car and the engine would start revving right away until the car would stall/ turn off. I would restart the car and it would run but it would make horrible sounds. thinking that it was under warranty because its a new car, I took it to the dealership and they told me it wasn't under warranty anymore. So I had to pay $650 to fix this newer car.

The car is stalling and revving up on its own. The dealer said they have to replace seals.

Sometimes problem is very noticeable, but last month car felt like when a car is running low on fuel, sputtering effect, lights blink on and off, radio or CD will stops and continues. Seems that when I come to a stop or slow down to a Yield sign problem shows up, 4 times now since February, the last in July. Wouldn't want that to happen more seriously like motor quitting and cause steering problem, that's all for now.
