The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that while traveling 2 mph a screeching noise emitted when the brakes were depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times who diagnose that the failure was due to brake dust on the emergency brake and brake pads. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and the VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 8,000 and the current mileage was 11,400.
