So I hop in the car last night after dinner to go get ice cream. On the way there the hood flies up crashing into the windshield! It was horrible. I got it home and looking it over the safety latch is loose and no longer engages when the hood is shut. How the hood became unlatched at all is a mystery as I worked yesterday and drove the highway home before making and eating dinner. My only relief to my crumpled hood is that this did not happen on the highway itself as I would've died for sure. It was literally something you only see in a movie! why are there no cables keeping it from going all the way up? My hood was replaced early on due to paint issues, I am wondering if they did not replace something correctly at the dealership? I hate this car, it started falling apart as soon as I paid my last payment and the warranty ended! UGH!
