CarComplaints.com Notes: Consumer Reports road tests has noted deficiencies in the 2012 Avenger with regard to engine noise, acceleration, braking, handling, transmission, fuel economy, driving position and rear visibility. But at least it has a cool marketing campaign ... right?
2012 Dodge Avenger AC/Heater passenger side very loud knocking. This car has been a problem since soon after buying it new, for a while early on the passenger side heat died and only blew cold air. Had that fixed under warranty. Now, warranty expired and same passenger side is knocking. Dodge should make good on this problem but now I am sure they will want money to fix it. This should be a recall issue!!!! It is a royal pain!!!
A noise every time I turn my car and also when I turned the AC or the heater. The noise getting worse. I went online, and a lot of this model are having the same problem. I would understand if it would be just my car making this noise, but is not. I hope Dodge would do something about this problem.
