My wife was leaving work {hot summer day-85 degrees-terribly humidity] she was getting on to the interstate to come home and car would not go above 50 mph-not up shifting. Called me-I said get over to the side and shut it off. I got to her about 30 minutes later-I got in the car to limp it somewhere safer. The damn thing was fine-drove it home. Claimed she was doing something wrong. Took it to dealer we bought it from, certified pre-owned Dodge Warranty- they kept it two days. NOTHING WRONG THEY COULD SEE, figures. They told us the next time it happens- drive straight to the neared Dodge Dealer. OK-top speed 50, maybe blow motor, screw it, got a warranty right?
Afraid to take this car to far from a DOG DEALER, I mean Dodge Dealer, on trips/driving etc. Late August that year-does it again-we are in OHIO - some f*cking where. Great, I looked frantically for a dealer, cell phone computer sh*t- no service. Pulled over, it set for 30-40 minutes[again 85-90 degrees out]. Car starts, drove straight home- happened two more times. Talked to dealer- well, we haven't had any other problems from other people but bring it in. Did not, screw it-gonna go get Korean car.
