On January 9th wife took the car to work after her lunch break. The car was running well and no issues... 4 hours later when her shift was done, she called me to tell me that the car wouldn't steer. When I arrived at her work place I noticed a pool of pinkish/red fluid on the snow, where the car had been sitting. Upon raising the hood and inspection I saw that the power steering reservoir was empty!! Being Saturday evening the garage was closed. Managed to get the car home and tomorrow am taking the car back to the garage to find out what is going on. I believe that once again I may be told that the crimping on the hose has separated thus causing the loss of fluid. I am now very ticked off!!! This is the 3rd time in 1 year that I have had this issue!! I have already handed out $400 bucks to have this problem fixed twice already and now am not impressed that once again I will be dishing out more money to fix a problem that continues to pop up!! Is this a continued ongoing problem with these cars??? Why is it that it is constantly the same issue....."crimping on the hose separating"!! I have always been a dodge lover (this is my 3rd Dodge)..I also currently own a 2000 Dodge Ram 4x4 and before that I owned a 1994 Dodge Dakota 4x4 and have never had any major issues with Dodge products UNTIL now!!! I guess I will have to wait and see what the garage tells me tomorrow, when I once again bring in my 2011 Dodge Avenger to them for the 3rd time for the same issue!!!! Feeling like Dodge is dodging an issue here!!!! Anyone else out there running into this same problem??? Would love to hear about it!!
