I'm a single parent, US Veteran I brought this vehicle used as a Christmas gift for my son. No one every told me the trunk leaks. I was/still upset because no one knows how to fix the problem.... searching the website, YouTube seems its a big problem that's on going and has not been fixed... and everyone I talk to in person that has a Dodge Avenger has the same problem, the trunk leaks. It never fell every time it rain or get the car washed, you open the trunk to put groceries, clothes from the dry cleaner, its a waterfall at first and the trunk is soaked. And with the type of materials used you have some type of fungus growing. I am fed up spending money to have the trunk dry or water sucked out. My son did not tell me because he did not want to seem ungrateful and was proud of the Christmas gift knowing how hard I work to provide for us, and I do. This is the only vehicle I've brought and regret I did. I feel its a bad gift to give a love one for Christmas that you can't take bad to the dealership. Same on Dodge for not taking care of these problems before now or doing a recall.
