There should be a recall about this problem. I'm talking about a lot of water even after washing the car water get in. I just figured how it was getting in. There should be a to seal the light to prevent the water from coming into the trunk locking area. This is definitely a design problem. Possible fix a rubber gasket or grommet to tighten up the light housing against to create a seal????
BAD TRUNK DESIGN. WHEN YOU OPEN TRUNK IT FILLS WITH WATER FROM RAIN AND IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE SNOW ON TRUNK IT ALL DUMPS INTO YOUR TRUNK WHEN YOU OPEN IT, BAD DESIGN. CAR'S A LEMON, HAS A MULTITUDE OF ISSUES AND WARRANTIES AND CALL BACK ISSUES DENIED.
I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DODGE AS LONG AS I LIVE AND IF MY KIDS EVER BY ONE 'ILL DISOWN THEM.. WELL, MAYBE NOT, BUT I STRONGLY ADVISE BASED ON MY OPINION DODGE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT OR PROVIDING FAIR WARRANTIES OR RECALL SERVICES..
So, whenever it rains when opening the trunk, there is a spot inward of the trunk latch that leaks water into the trunk. It really pours a ton of water inside the trunk when trying to load or unload groceries. And all over me when I have to reach deep into the trunk.
