So my air conditioner stopped working. Wouldn't blow cold at all. Went to a grease spot to have it checked to see if it needed refilled....they said no your system is full and your compressor is working, they couldn't do anything further... Went to another mechanic who offers full service, after several hours, they found that my TIPM...totally integrated power module, was not working correctly. It had caused my clutch to run constantly...they said it burned up my compressor now as well. So repair for TIPM...1000$ thru a shop and then repair of AC compressor 1500$ thru a shop. After some research I found out this is a COMMON problem...with the TIPM...and various parts would go out due to it...(some people fuel relay, some people windows, some wipers...for me was my AC compressor) I was able to find a TIPM thru autozone online for 540$ (200$ returned to you for core part after) and installation is SUPER easy...you can look up youtube video on it....I'm not mechanical and know nothing about cars and was able to do it myself. But very disappointed dodge knows this is a problem and refuses to place a recall on it. Still haven't replaced my AC compressor. Cuz I don't have the money.
