The motor and regulator have been replaced 2 times in both the passenger and drivers side windows. One lasting 3 years, the other...passenger side....NEVER WORKED!!!!!!!! No one can figure out why!!
I've had it with this car!!! Never ever buy a dodge. Everyone I know that has ANY of them has issues!!!
First my driver side window wouldn't roll down, a few weeks later, the passenger side wouldn't roll up, and once I got it rolled up, it won't stay up, I have cardboard in between the rubber and window keeping it up. It slowly slides down and I have to constantly change the cardboard. About a month later my radio started going in and out, and then nothing but static and now it doesn't work at all. They are trying to find out what the problem is and I go back to dealer next week. Trying different dealer this time.
On Saturday I was driving and rolled the window down. Tried to roll it up and it won't budge. It is cold and I have two small children. This car is only 5 years old this is ridiculous. Never again will I buy a Dodge smh!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this car new in 2008. Nothing but problems that I have never had with any older used car I ever owned. Put the power window down one day and it wouldn't go back up. I could hear a grinding noise. Turns out the regulator had to be replaced. On a five year old car? In addition to constant brake and rotor issues, headliner starting to fall down, alternator going out. Horrible car. Don't buy one, don't even consider it.
The window on the driver's door popped then fell into the door today. I'm not sure how much it will cost to repair. I just spent $1200 having the plastic radiator replaced, now this. I have always been a Dodge fan, but I'm losing patience with this car. This is the first Dodge we have owned that did not last 10 years and at least 250,000 miles before it started to break and fall apart. If I owned it outright, I would trade it in on a Chevy.
This was a minor problem that occurred, at the time the window was rolled down, and never came back up. I didn't have the $575.00 to replace the window motor. Therefore, I had to pay a dodge dealership to pull my window up and disconnect the motor for $75.00!
Well with it being my first new car,I was heart broken. Now it's doing it again and I'm pissed it seems like my car always has a list of things to fix and should I say refix....Can dodge not get it right on this car????
