I purchased this 2008 Avenger in Nov of 2008 with 15,000 miles on it. Soon after it started to jump while driving down the road. I have had it to several mechanics, even the Dodge Dealer and he said he can't fix it until he sees what it is doing. Well it doesn't do it all the time. but it is beginning to do it on a more regular basis now. It is several times a day. It acts like the engine is not getting gas or that the transmission is not pulling.
I bought this car used from a Dodge Dealer and this is probably why someone traded it in. It is very scary when it does the jumping or maybe you would call it partially stalling out. My car now has about 120,000 miles on it, so it hasn't completely broken down yet. But I guess we will just have to wait and see. Has anyone else had this problem?
