Driving with my daughter down a major highway (I-95) in Florida, car was making a loud noise, sounded like a diesel truck. All of a sudden battery charging light came on, abs light, many other lights on dash were on, radio shut off, air shut off, and felt like hot air coming in. The car started going very slow (all other cars around us doing 80 plus). Felt like it wouldn't go into the next gear. We were in the inside lane of a 6 lane highway. Very dangerous!
My car only has 60,000 miles. Mechanic said it was the alternator. $600 to replace. Many of the other complaints about this problem starts at about 60,000 miles. Seems to be a problem with these cars. I will warn everyone DO NOT BUY DODGE!!!!
