The car would not start sometimes or start and die in a couple seconds and eventually only start with the remote start, so I thought it was a security issue to do with the key. I took it to the dealership they said it needed a new "module". I ended up removing the security system box from the ignition assembly cleaning all connections and then replacing the ignition lock cylinder pins with new pins. Seems to have worked and tightened everything up. I also had a new key cut and programmed using on line steps. Maybe the ignition was just worn out to start with and the security system wasn't picking up the signal to start not sure but was a feat of a month long battle in my garage.
