Blend door for heater/air conditioning direction, shorted out. Removing th e glove box wasn't to bad, but removing the three screws that hold the actuator motor was a real pain in the ass.
Luckily the local dealer had one in stock. Makes me believe that this was an item that routinely breaks.
Went back together a lot easier than the removal. Seeing that the replacement kit only had two screws, this is all I replaced. Vent shifts from windshield to floor to cabin with ease now.
Took approximately three hours, at dealer prices this equates to a $500.00 repair..
