The contact owns a 2003 Chrysler Voyager. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle shook and failed to accelerate over 50 mph. The vehicle felt as if it would stall. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was an electrical cable failure that ran through the fuel injection and needed to replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 217,000.
Our van model / year isn't listed under the ignition switch recall, but we have the identical issue; you can remove the key in any position - whether the motor is running, or is on accessory.
In the beginning, it began with the airbag light intermittent views. But quickly, a few kilometers later this light remained lit permanently. At the time, the cruise control works once on three, and then after nothing. The airbag light remains lit continuously, the cruise control does not work, and worse the horn is inoperative. I can no longer take the vehicle. I called the Chrysler dealer in my region who told me that this will be charged at around 300 euros because my vehicle is not affected by the recall of the Chrysler Voyager for those same failures. It is then by searching on the internet I came across your site sorry for my approximate english. I speak better french. The contact owns a 2003 Plymouth Voyager 2003. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle's lights flashed on and off and then stopped. The contact has not taken the vehicle to a mechanic. The failure has gotten worse. The current mileage is 45,000 and failure mileage was 30,000. Updated 12/12/07

Beginning prior to service appt. 12-23-05, headlight and dash lights flickered on/off while vehicle was operating. Vehicle checked with no problem codes showing up. Problem continues. Latest event occurred 10-8-06 on a continuous basis for at least five minutes.
While driving 60 mph on the highway vehicle wouldn't shift and suddenly decelerated. Vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated that problem could be in the engine or the computer, but was not able to determine the problem.
