Although there has not been an accident, there is a certain amount of acceptable replacement time before pads should be changed. I have had to replace these just about every three months. The rotors have been done at the same time. Normally I would say that the repair shop was taking advantage of me, but this has been done with more than just a second opinion and a mechanic for a father in law. This is unacceptable and I know im not the only consumer that is in this situation. Pads should not be replaced that often especially with most of the mileage coming from highway use rather than city use.
