2001 Chrysler Voyager developed problems with the air conditioner. While the consumer was on a long cross country trip the A/C began to make strange noises. The noises continued until the consumer turned off the A/C. the consumer had to drive in 115 degree heat with no A/C. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the compressor had malfunctioned and damaged other parts in the engine.
